Sold my amp on ebay a few days ago, was a bit weary cos after the bloke payed he was asking if it runs on 2 ohms. I havent got a clue what this means. Hes recieved the item and ive now recieved a message saying this...
Hello, your amplifier does not tend to be working, as every time power is given to it, the fuses melt. They went through six fuses and still it wouldn't work. I think its faulty!!
So please can i have my money back and then ill send your item back to you.
Kasim
The amp was working when i last used it, can anyone tell me what he could be doing wrong, i cant see why a faulty amp would blow 6 fuses, must be something hes doing wrong??

Without looking at his set up i have no idea!
Sounds like it could be a bad earth possibly?
Did you state in your add that there is to be no returns and that it worked last time you used it but offer no guarentee?

Tell him to run his subs normally and not on 2 Ohms. The amplifier must not be stable getting as much power drained out it on 2 ohms for running his sub/s.
Tell him if he wants more power buy a bigger/more powerful amp instead of running 2 ohms

tell him to send item back first but tell him to keep proof of postage, then when you receive it back, or he can prove he sent it with his postage receipt which will have your postcode on it. Only once you get it back should you refund him.

tell him it worked fine on your setup it must be something to do with his..
mine used to melt fuses and it was something to do with the sub outs from the headunit.

I basically said it could be a number of other things causing the fuses to blow, im clueless personally however i do know the amp was in full working order when it left my hands and therefore it is up to him to sort, under my set up it was fine.
