Just try and get another job lined up, maybe go for some interviews and if u get the position take it ... you can always call them and say u cant work for them if ur not made redundant....

i wont stay here no matter what.

i need to work full month to get redundancy (will be crap anyway)

i cant look for jobs or anything here, still being paid so cant do it or take time off cos if i get the sack in mean time then i wont get redundancy.

In the letter / meeting it said "you might not be made redundant" apparently this is a new law..

Basically they can offer me any job at all, sweeping the floor or anything, if i dont accept this role then i leave without pay.

Eitherway looks like im stuffed.

actually no they can't/ they have to offer you a job with the same pay, same responsablity etc etc or you claim contructive dismissal and get cash anyway.

Was just going to say wat Vibro has said.

I have been studying employment law recently and the law states exactly what Vibro put. They also cant expect you to work or relocate to a different office/site if the distance is deemed to be unreasonable.

Ring ACAS if you have any queries but dont get backed into a corner. If they offer you something then say you need 24 hours or more to consider it and get on the phone to ACAS to make sure its all legit.
