Went to Paris for New Year with my girlfriend. I was originally going to Newquay with my mates but my girlfriend got free tickets through working at Bristol Airport so my plans changed.
It was an amazing trip. We went to Disney Land on New Years Eve and a Paris excurison on new years day.
This might be a slight SPOILER!!! for anyone thinking of going but i definately recommend it. Anyway here are some pictures from my trip...
Ferry trip over was very rough and you could see snow on the hills near Calais

Day after arrived at the park at 8.30 and this was the Big Disney Hotel, something like £1000 a night each for basic room

The good old Magic Kingdom Train Station

The Train which we took all around the park first

Me standing in the love bird thing and the Castle behind

The castle

"Its a Small World" ride which was amzing

The Haunted House

A ghost in the haunted house

Mickey Mouse Show on ice...

Night shot of All things small ride..

First of many parades. This one wasn't the best but got a shot of Mickey Mouse

Then a picture of the last illumination parade which was amazing. Puts carnivals to shame

Disney Vilage where we went to get food just before midnight because it was Fa Fa Fa Freezing and my girlfriend was getting a bit tired. Couldn't get in anywhere cos the queues were miles long. In the end got ripped off in a resteraunt for 92 euros for 2 buffet meals. And i paid £9 for a pint!!!

The firework show at midnight was amazing...

And the best picture which shows how good the lights were around the whole of the park...

Next day went to Paris and went on a boat trip up the siene river but could see shit all.
Then went to the Eiffel tower which had fallen over

Then on the coach we went round which i was hoping for the Arc de Triomphe..

Coach took us past Moulin Rouge..

This was which i didn't relise in a red light district and saw a McDonalds next to a Xrated cinema

Then went up to some Cathedral which i can't remember the name of and was on a big hill...

View from the Cathedral

Shot of a Big wheel which was near Champ De Mars

Then the coach manage to stop for the Eiffel tower Sparkle

Then i played around with the Exposure time whcih i read about in a guide on hear. Think Vibro wrote it and i thought the shot came out really good...

Then the Ferry home where we could see the white cliffs of dover

Definately was a briliant trip. Only thing i didn't like was the French!!! The are so arrogant and impatient. Couple of times the triend pushing past in queues and i stood my ground so they couldn't get past. Wish i knew the french for "Back of the line dickhead". Everyone there i spoke to said the same about the french.
Anyway i definately recommend it for anyone wanting to take their girlfriend away but plan it all in advance like toursa and going up the tower if your not going with a holiday company.

Ahh thats the name of it. Did some muppet near there try and grab your girlfriend to sell some crap. I didn't speak french but i told the the guy to FCUK off and we didn't want his silly piece of string
Vegas phil thats where the big arch is that i got a picture of. I got some more of the traffic going round and it did look fairly crazy. We were told that it was nothing compared to rush hour. There are actually 12 major roads that join onto that roundabout
Korsa-Kat it is "Magical" just like the advert. Yuo should go

Aparently Phil alot of the french find it a challenge going round it and some enjoy it.
Aparently its the only place in france that if there is an accident then it goes as Knock for Knock becuase there are so many accidents there that insurance companies have given up trying to make claims.
Yeah Nath i'm sure you can do day trips there. There were people in our hotel who only went to the park for one day but it took them best part of the day before and after to get there. So you would probably more or less need 3 days off work or a long weekend.
But it takes that long cos its on a coach and they have to pickup in a load of different places. I swear if i was driven the travel time would have been halfed. But then again i wouldn't have got my car on the ferry cos even the coach caught the ground when getting on

lol simon i think they are everywhere in Paris at Major attractions. The tour guide did warn us about our bags and stuff.
I was trying to take a picture of my girlfriend up at Sacre couer with Paris behind here. While i was taking it she said Adam, put the camera away. The she pointed behind me and some dodgey guy was standing behind me looking like he was ready to grab my camera.
He would have had to have run like Linford cos i would have beat his ass!
I think next time i go i will take some scisors so next time one of these "looky looky you get Boom Boom" guys tries to tie a piece of crappy string on my girlfriends arm i will just cut it off and chuck it in his face

Yeah should be fine. I think the paris metro goes there and it was about 30mins from their to the centre of paris on the coach. Their are ticket desks there but you might be able to get day tickets in advance.
What is also cool is they do Hopper tickets where you can go between Disney land and Disney studios which is ment to be like universal studios but its a bit smaller than the Disney Land park. We could have done this on the second day but we wanted to go to Paris.
Wrighty i want to go back to becuase ididn't get to do the Pirates of the Carrabiean ride or Indiana Jones! and we were there for 16 hours

Lol umm if you ask a cabby to take you to Moulin Rouge it starts directly opposite and carries on up the road....

I took this from the coach directly after taking the one of Moulin Rouge on the other side.
When you see signs saying 2 euros a peep and live sex shows eta.... you know your in the district you don't want to be
