Do you definately want to go abroad? You could get a cottage in the Scottish highlands or a really posh hotel in the Lakes perhaps?

Yeah I've heard Pragues supposed to be good but I wouldn't know where to start to look for things to do. TBH I dont even know where Prague is

Thing with Paris is that theres the Eiffel Tower, arc de triomphe or whatever its called etc. to look round and supposed to be good shops so that'd keep my girlfriend happy! Will have to find out info on Prague so know what there is to do there

Nismo - yeah expect it will cost more but I'll found out how much more when I go to the travel agents later

I took my missus to brussels for her 18th and also new year!

wasnt the most romantic place, hotel we had was 5 star and made it really. the grand palace was lovely to sit near with a beer etc!
we found it nice walking around the street etc

look at venice if your wallet stretches that far!
