Show cages are wank! Whats the point!

Might as well save money and do what someone on here done and make a cage out of drain pipe!

but whats the difference between a show cage and a real cage in the eyes of an insurer really? its just a few bits o metal, no real need to tell them that its a real cage when its on a road car imo

like if you roll, it snaps and stabs you in the head, dimma ones are shit imo

on the other hand one of the fusion ones actually saved a lads life when he rolled iirc

but if you have a real cage that's welded in and the insurance company are ok with it why bother trying to tell them it's a show one ... no need to lie

becaus elots of insurers charge you lots of monewy for a real cage, and charge less for a show cage

i know my insurer do, which is why when i get one, it will be a "show cage"

that's a good reason to tell them it's a show cage ... mine had no problem with me having a real cage so i just told them what it was ... i can see how some insurers get the wobblies with them... who are u insured with?

No cutting or welding, this cage simply bolts to existing fixings in the car! all the interior can stay where it supposed to be.

kind of gives it away dnt u think

www.fusionfabrication.com is where Brad got his, same place as I got mine.

All Fusion stuff is Stainless Steel rather than ally, so won't dull over time like Ally will. It's also stronger so if you DO have a 'bump' in your motor chances of the cage doing something to protect is greater.
