If the XE didn't win I'd drive it off a cliff.

A large proportion of the 1600 boys off here would kill a VTS...

some people ask some stupid questions , would my mini-moto beat a double decker bus? with 30 passengers on it with 20 psi in the tyres .

would my grandmas mobility scooter win a 60 year old on foot , in damp conditions with a spot of ice on the path with a slight incline.

I have actually seen a VTS beat an XE'd corsa on the 1/4mile, that XE was standard, the VTS was mildly tuned but good setup with suspension and tyres, plus the driver used to do rallycross in the old rear engined Imps so he was good with his technique, the XE owner made numerous excuses and basically tried to take the glory from the saxoman, made himself look a coont.

Don't read much into it, out of all the possible races a corsa XE could have with a saxo VTS, the one I witnessed was only 1 of them.

Yes, of course but alot of it is still down to the driver, I talk to a lot of people who have stupidly high powered motors but just simply cannot drive them to their potential.
