What do you hate about Christmas time?

Mine has to be the early morning wake on boxing day and having to drive 4 hours up the country to visit the gf's family, and then staying with them until after the new year.

That and of course the empty bank account.

The fact that u spend weeks worrying about presents and spending shit loads of money, u wake up, open presents, eat dinner, then spend the rest of the day being bored.

The stuff isn't "really" free tho is it?

You still have to buy for other people.

It would be better all round if nobody bought anybody anything and just spent the money on themselves and actually got things they wanted instead of some calvin kloon undies your gran got off the local market

no my childhood was great, used to love crimbo. but then when i was about 15 or so i jst thought what the point. im the youngst in the family so we dnt have to pretend to anyone about santa so i dnt see the point of being all festive when in truth, nobody is arsed about it

I love the look on my kids faces when they open their presents. That makes all the bad bits worth it.

i hate it when you open a present and its rubbish or awful and you have to look kind of grateful. This is worse if you are at someone else's house and everyone is watching your reaction.

I have a daughter but she's only 9 months old. Honestly, she'd love playing with a piece of string more than the shit her mum has bought her
