Our dealership took delivery of its new Arden Blue Astra VXR this week and it rocks

Been out quite a few times for a blast in it and already used a tank of petrol in about a day.

Cant fault it, my dad has a 1.8 Design and its as quiet as that cruising around town. But get a heavy right foot and you can hear the exhaust note deepen and get roarty. You can also hear the air being physically sucked into the turbo.

Top marks to vauxhall for this one, its a monster!

Oh, the sales manager has just got his Vectra VXR in, 2.8 V6 Turbo. Sounds like a jet plane

Doesn't torque steer as bad as Top Gear made out.

If you cant hold you then you dont deserve to be behind the wheel of one hehe.

Edd - SMB.

Those are the 18s Andy without the 'ultra low profile' tyres and it handles very nicely indeed. The MD is having a Zafira VXR in black with the 19" alloys. Its veeeeeeeery nice, but you could suprise alotta people in that.

What I don't get is the motoring press never moaning about the Civic Type Arse's lack of LSD and the fact you cannot pull away like EVER without wheel spinning and all the press masterbated over it.

We get a Vauxhall capable of wipeing the floor of Jap arse and all the motoring press do is moan about it's torque steer.

Vaux took two models down and BBC 'tested' that model so whats why Jeremy whinged so much about torque steer. Apparently there may be legal proceedings against the BBC

Anyway, ill get pics of the Vectra and Zafira tomorrow or saturday

Thats what i thought about the vectra C and astra coupe's when they first came out with their silly silver bit at the back. But both cars grew on me particuraly the astra.

Think that VXR would look mean in black.
