we had a springer spaniel, that was one hyper mofo, so hyper my mum didnt like it, so we had to give him away

He's actually a Miniature Pinscher, thinks he's a doby tho, and people think he's a doby pup too, so works well from a security point of view. Might catch on when he's not grown any after a few years mind...

Depends what you mean by small. I've got a Staffy puppy and it'll be small in height when its fully grown but built like a brick shit house

Really nice friendly dogs with people though, have had a few of them now.

they have breathing problems due to the folds round their mouths and they also have to have the folds cleaned out every now and then to stop them from getting any infections

OK Greg what we have here is a puppy = very cute blah blah blah about 5 months ago! The puppy is now bigger then the large dog in the picture.

My advice, dont buy a Golden retreiver!

not all get breathing problems, you've got to get them from a decent source where the lines are good, as otherwise they can get breathing problems due to inbreeding and admormal shaped snouts!
