There was a Metro GTi or GTa on Ebay the other week with a 1.8 VVC engine. Bet that would shift.

what has a alpine engine in ???

If you go for a later K series ecample you cna upgrade the the 1.8 K pretty easily with the PG1 gearbox

MGF steerign rack fits and has a shorter ratio

um Most rover brakes fit, ie MGF ones, or a reyland set up

6R4 only ever was Grp. B - it was purpose built for that.

That is why there were only ever 200 Metros built that were ever worth having.

Sadly 50k upwards was a little out of the reach of most people.

Name stands for 6 cylinder Rally 4 wheel drive.

Three litre V6 in International cars.

2.5 in clubman spec cars.

Same as twin turbo unit that ended up in the XJ220, but without the turbos.

Will Gollop's car ended up turbo charged though, and produced something in the region of 800 bhp at the height of it's rallycross career before he retired it, and developed his Peugeot.

Alpine engines only ever ended up in Alpines.

And only 6R4s should look like 6R4s.

FWD lookalike is 100 times worse than M3 wheels on a 318.

First ever car i owned was a metro turbo, very nice. Had a scaffolding pole role cage and 6R4 fibreglass panels and sparco flaps the size of front doors on it... looked ridiculous
