i know youre sick of conversion+ insurance questions so ill keep this as short as possible. how much roughly would i have to spend to convert to a 2.0 16v or pref a turbo from a 1.4 16v? (including engine, ecu etc etc)
and could it be done in a weekend by someone like lee mitchell ? (if all the parts were ready for fitting)

From what i know, i reckon i could be done for about 1500, need engine + gearbox, brakes, mounts (might have left some, clutch?) Reckon it could def be done in a weekend though.

if it was a tenner and a pint down the pub for lee mitchell to do the job, do you not think everyone would do it? Plus, aren't you having a laugh asking about a turbo...aren't you like 19?

Do you ever stop chatting shit? i never said a tenner, i was thinking around 700 maybe, and the reason i was asking was because i dont know, thats the whole point you nob.
how does this fool avoid being banned?
anyways ... to the rest of you, thanks alot for the info, theres not really any garages local that could do such a big job, and i really couldnt afford to spend that kind of money on a corsa, on my wage.
Thanks.

id say honestly 1500 aint a bad price for everything if you aint doing it yourself.
you could do it cheaper though yourself

Theres a first for everything matey, i wouldnt want to splash out the extra cash myself, its worth more to know youve done something yourself.

If I was a garage I would not want to do conversions... your reputation is relying on shonkey bits
