will places like tesco etc still be open now as i knwo pubs serve alcohol later on sundays?? or they still shut at 5?? i need some booze

most of the liscence applications were from supermarkets so i should think so.

Some supermarkets shut early due to Sunday Opening hour laws, so they'll still shut at the same time I'd imagine.

Tesco is only open 24 hours on weekdays, only open 10-4 on a sunday

new licensing laws are irrelevant. tesco open 1-0-4 on a sunday due to sunday trading laws, not alcohol licensing laws.
basically they're shut

i know their openin hours arent decided on alcohol licensing laws, but i wasnt sure if trading laws had changed too or not

This man is speaking the truth sunday trading laws is bassed on the square footage of the sales area so unless it is less than 3000 sq foot it can only open for 6 hours

No, honest to god there was a sign up yesterday saying to had to be 21 to purchase alcohol from the little tescos by our house!
