everyone is making a load of noise about this, but only a few places will be given permission to be open all night so it'll make little difference.

Plus IMO it'll just mean people leaving at different times during the night, so no mass rush to the kebab place or struggle to get a taxi.

i would throw my drink at you, am sure ur allowed to drink it before leaving

our pubs just close the curtains and turn lights down so everyone can stay inside till early hours of morning

if it was a privately run pub we'd do this as all the managers are up for it, but because we're a wetherspoons its well strict the way our pubs have to be ran

my local pub had a notice in the window, said they were applying for an extra hour excluding fridays & saturdays which would be 2 hours extra, think they have got it too, i hope so, but in a way i don't because its just more time to waste money

i used to work in a pub like that, more fun like! this new law is more so for our 'protection', we prolly will let people drink up, but say we have a bunch of drunken dicks in, now by law we can just close and kick them out

being able to drink at leisure instead of having to cram to the bar at 12:30 for 4 drinks would be majorly cool... cant see it EVER coming in over here though...
