I went there today to test out one of our race cars, and take out one of the for the last time before it's retirement. God they have some wierd and wonderfull machines there. There were the usual Porches, Merc's, BMW's and Audi's but parked up wer these:

The thing that stood out the most was this though

Oh yea, and what do you do when your lightweight battery fails but you can't get it out without taking the engine out? Tape the booster battery onto the side

How long ago would that thing have been used? Looks very strange! What would it have been used for too?

Ages ago, Redline Records 2 I think that was. I've been there a few times and usually have a wander around the planes, loads of interesting stuff there.

Brunters does rock. I think it's a bit of a bargain. It's £100 for the day... Seems like a lot, but you just tear about for as long as you can, and when you compare it to a run up the Pod too...

When we did the ultima testing last year i got about 10 minutes to look around them planes. That blimp/plane was proper weird, and the one that looks very much like a hurrican etc was pretty angular and funky!
