Anyone done these ?

ive just got my car fixed so i tuk it for a thrashin (hope it hasnt broke it again lol)

first time i did it i got 8.99 seconds and second time i did it i got 8.25 seconds

this seems pretty fast to me i dont know bout u ppl

its only a 1.4 8v

thats quick for them. dont drive mine yet but mines a 1.4 16v an on the performance stats part of the website it says mine will only do 10.5 so ur doing well

seems somewhat unlikely that a quicksilver would hit 60 in 8.3 seconds..

is the em light actually reducing performance? it shouldn't be i don't think....depending on the fault.

i thought when the em light comes on it goes into a closed loop map like limp home until it goes out again

Yeah its killing first second seems quick though , but before it comes on first is quick but then it pops on and it defo cuts power a bit

theyre good engines them volvo ones so i reckon even after 400,000 miles it probably still do a 6.7

The quiksilver is pretty quick in acceleration, I didnt see much different in an xr2i.

my car does 2 different 0-60 times.

it can do a 3and a bit second 0-60
and also a 25secod 0-60

the 3sec is when i'm counting
and 25 is when my mate counts as fast as he can.

For redline I managed a 5.38 0-60, without a slip diff.

For comparison on the same day the Van (with a slip diff) did a 5.3, and Chris_S's 12.3 sec Nova did a 5.4.
