Want a couple of new ones, we aren't classing Nelly or Destiny's Child as R n B here I'm talking about soulful R n B, non mainstream.

Gimme you recommendations.

Not necessarily new but here are some RnB/Soul albums that I like:

Raphael Saadiq - Instant Vintage
John Legend - Get Lifted
Lucy Pearl - Lucy Pearl
D'Angelo - Brown Sugar
Floerty - Floetic
Terri Walker - Untitled
Angie Stone - Mahogany Soul

Excellent Moe, I'm not a fan of Angie Stone but the rest of them I'll take a look at at lunch.

If you're going to buy any of the ones I mentioned make it the Lucy Pearl one. It's is an absolute must have and possibly the best RnB album I've ever listened to

i read this

"the only difference between a record being a hip-hop record or an R&B record is whether its vocals are rapped or sung. Modern R&B lacks the hardcore and soulful urban "grinding" feel on which hip hop-soul relied, and began to focus more on solo acts rather than groups as the 2000s progressed. Some of the artists who have successfully recorded in this style include Usher, Beyoncé and Destiny's Child, Mario, Ashanti, "

RnB is a bit girly i decided

And the bonus question...I wonder who could actually tell me what R n B stands for?
