depends on how much more expensive the house will be to live in.....
Insurance
Council tax
heating bills
travel
running several cars
etc...
etc....
don't forget this is your first place so you wanna make it work!

exactly, you have to think long-term.
In a year or two that place might be worth 75k and you'll be able to move on (closer to work or whatever).
Definitely get the house, you'd be silly not to especially as it's the same price.

council tax is lower is its in the valleys, id be doing 50 miles a day which is £120 a month on fuel compared to £60...
Richie could stay with his parents in the week as mortgage is in my name ... my house
Heating ... True i will ask my parents how much their bills are as their house is a bit bigger
Still in 2 minds!

I was expecting some filth with that title
I'd go for the house but would it not make sence to wait for another house in your current area? 65k is well cheap My 1 bedroom flat is worth 100k now

I suppose because the house is less money than the flat, i would be saving money but that money would go on extra fuel and heating

Ally, I agree with Andrew to be honest.
If you hold tight for a little bit and do a bit more searching you're bound to find a house nearer to you.
It would be worth the wait

Im not in any rush so ill get my mortgage sorted and just keep looking untill i find somthing im 100% about
Im not going to get anything im only half/half about whether im making the right decision
But seems poo that a 1/2 bed flat and a 3/4 bed house are the same price ... just leaves me in a predicament
