It's official. The Lost Coast is now available for download via Steam for all owners of the full version of Half-Life 2.

Though anyone can play it on their lower-end system, to appreciate the full benefits of The Lost Coast, you will need a high end machine to play. Recommendations are a 2.6Ghz or Higher P4 or 2800+ AMD, 1GB of RAM, and a GeForce 6800 Class or ATI 800 Class or higher Video Card.

Lost Coast features some excellent graphical features including HDR, double resolution textures and much higher-polygon models (and much more).

The Lost Coast will contain around 15 minutes of brand new game play, set around parts of the City 17 coastal area that was originally cut from the game.

Get it now via Steam or talk about it in the Steam user forums - http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/

Cyberspunk hate it when this happens, my system is not all that bad, ran HL2 fine to be honest. Just couldn't have everything turned up

I will be going for a 3800+, Abit motherboard, Geforce XFX 7800 g-card and hopefully 2gb Corsair Ram

Will be costing around 1k

I just played it - it's impressive... interesting too with the commentary. But don't expect a fun playing experience.

you sure you've got a 3500mhz Athlon, or an Athlon 3500?
