recently in my local town, they have decided to replace a normal mini roundabout with this:

WTF is all that about?

no one knows what ur supposed to do, who 2 give way to?
i now avoid this as its now causes traffic ques due to confusing and i'm scared some1 will knock me as no 1 knows how 2 use it - me neither really!

I'm sure a completely blank road in which motorists need to make their own mind up who has priority would be far safer.

I personally would like to see markings and traffic lights abolished, and motorists only given licences if they can cope with it. Would end up with less road rage, lower journey times and less accidents due to people jumping lights.

The traffic goes quicker when the lights are off - ever noticed this?

They should buy cars.

No, serously, crossings can stay, I just meant give way markings for cars, give way where necessary and use your brain. Not wait for the right colour light.

i agree to a certain extent, but there is still some angry tosser in a merc/4WD... who wants to get to work extra early and jump the stop sign and smash head on into a schoolbus full of delinquents

Ian, in a perfect world we could all drive from A-B with no problems with fellow motorists, with no roundabouts, traffic lights, MS Paint designed obstructions, but unfortunately there are unsavoury people on our roads who think otherwise. this is why we have big colourful lights to tell us when to go and stop.

i agree with spunky monkey, 60% of drivers can't drive, and are always in the right. they need big flashy lights
