After muchos trekking about today im still no closer to getting a replacement spring for my TB's
Really pissed with Novatech for saying "any local engineering place will have one" which was blatently said just to fob me off I shall be calling them tomorrow without fail.
I know its not impossible to get springs like this. Its a relatively simple part. However you try looking around a breakers yard etc for one & you'll see just how hard it can be. Kinda the automotive version of trying to find a needle in a haystack
As you can see from the pic the spring is just under 1 1/4 inches long. It SHOULD have a hook on both ends but on the one pictured it has snapped off. PLease please please have a little look around at your home/garage/place of work to see if you have something suitable. (Big thanks to Mav who has already sent me one spring to try out but this was too large )
If you think you've got something similar or the right spring for the job please contact me ASAP
Here's the pics:

Cheers guys

Just tried & i cant bend it
Part of a springs design is to retain its shape & it just wont budge
