Help this technology is new to me I am a gimp.

Let me get this straight, I have masses upon masses of CD's if I understand this correctly when I purchase an IPod I will get a CD to download onto my laptop which will enable me to save all of these CD's onto my hard disk and inturn then save them to my Ipod so I have all my CD's in one place.

Is it as easy as this?

Thanks in advance

Ojc - The IPod virgin.

Ok, so I'm good up to here.

Now then lets take this a step further, I understand Kenwood make car stereos which enable us to plug our Ipods into and will play all the albums saved on that Ipod and again will mean I won't ever need to put a CD in my car ever again.

There is a company that makes interfaces for most MP3 players to a few head units, so long as your head unit is CD Text compatible and multi changer compatible...
