I've finally realised how quick the car is...
I've had the car like this for well over a year, and I've never been able to put a figure on what the car feels like, its just a sensation of acceleration...
Last night we were trying to run the car out of petrol so we could accuratly set the petrol guage up. Best place to do that is the motorway 
Without really holding it flat out for ages, or pushing it too hard, the car managed 151. Remember thats a real 151, not "oh my speedo says I'm doing 151, so I'm really doing 130".
Most defenatly the car could hit 165-170 IMO, the speedo was still going up in two's and three's when acceleration stopped 
Roll on a proper engine for next year

my speedo is out so at 6400rpm in 6th i had the other day read 125 on the clocks. genious.

proper engine, proper specs, one maybe like mine that doesnt like to tick over or idle very well. sounds like a proper tuned engine, soooo low compression. corsa v8 on tick over, honest.
what specs you going for then tim?

At night my phone can't take pictures of it as it's too bright against a dark background, all you see is a load of light like that pic I've already got. Get close to it and it doesn't get any better LOL
I need a proper camera! Corsa-Boy19 off here is gonna sort some proper stuff when the car is running spot on and I go round
I'm going to have a proper engine built over the winter, remember the engine I have at the moment is essentially standard inside. Fettle with the insides, stick a much bigger turbo on, more fuel, more power!

We have had loads of ideas, but I'm thinking at the moment stick a phase 4 chipset on (though long term stand-along management is on the agenda), rods, pistons, head work, GT28 turbo.
Seen one recently get about 380bhp/420lb, something like that would be good. Yours should be that to be fair!

ive tried to build mine to last, safety first and what have ya.
garret of some kind is maybe the future. its just the manifold design, reckon would have to be some custom made jobbie.
dunno what to do with mine now, more bhp and boost or more braking power???????

More boost for sure! Your brakes will stop you once from any speed Just calm down for a bit afterwards!

have you looked into catch tanks/brather set ups?
you will have tog et a pic of this dash though, just wanna see it in a corsa. would look cool id imagine

Yeah.......
Got a few options. Will has a random modification for it he suggested to me ages ago (was on the proper mad engine the cossvaux van had in years ago).
Could also block it off?
Thats the biggest problem with the car at the moment.
If I was you I'd just want to know what the feel of your car on full power was. You can take it easy until you sort your brakes. If you can restrain yourself LOL

I am.... but maybe not quite as mad...
But once the bottom end is done, thats upto spec. Would just need to do a madder head to the one I've planned. Also just change the management, then really its a case of pick your turbo and injectors and have a map.
Just need to actually sit down with my men and work things out, but 400lb is a target

There is more chance of me winning the lottery!
It has AT LEAST 200bhp more than the planned engine, 4wd, a ridiculous gearbox, less weight, and the added bonus of nitrous.
Only way I'll win is if I let his tyres down, or syphon all his petrol off LOL

Shit! Just remembered, if my mate hasnt got the new pads today I'll not be racing anywhere! Current pads that are on, you couldn't even skin a joint out of whats left on them!
Just looked on that site again, for 750bhp you run 8 1200cc injectors!
