I'm toying with this idea due to my job etc (can be used as a van) but aside from that cannot see the full benefits of it unless you are on a weight saving mission, or are going for a rally theme ?
Any chance of feedback from those of you have done this and why ?
Pics if possible?

i did in my first corsa to save a little weight
and to be not used as a taxi by so-called mates
plus a corsa is a 3 door so rear seats arent the best
my current corsa
track car, fuel pump and etc will be there

not only are ppl doin it save weight and good luck to those who genuinly like it but i think there is a trend for it at moment a phase which will die out soon.
if car is solely used for track day then gr8 idea but for normal road use any1 who says they like the noise and rattles is lieing in my eyes , though they may be chuffed with weight saved, but to me ent alot anyway if some1 lost 35kg's in weight and filled up with fuel then went next to car with 5quids worth of fuel there in same boat lol, same as removing 20-30kg's and then puttin cage in no weight lost but like i say theres gain in looks and rigidity so theres good and bad points

when you only need to do short journey's it kinda adds to the cars character.

or removing over 100kg of stuf from the car, adding a 19kg cage and even with a full tank of fuel your lighter than when you started.... bonus... lol!
i did it as im taking my car on a few track days next year, hence the cage, buckets and harnesses etc along with several other choice track orientated modifications..... i do agree with corsa120 tho, it is becoming a new craze....

i do like the look mark but drive lands end to jon'o groats and then give me ur answer lol
what else u took from urs compared to robins then to lose that extra 60kg's must have done alot, even swopping boot/doors for glass fibre would not equal 60kg loss

standard weight is 1020kg ish with air con etc according the the hand book ,so him to get to 900kg is over 100kg.....
i dont plan to drive the LE JOG..... but end of the day i dont mind the noise, i do a fair few miles in my car, it doesn't bother me, like it would you.... i plan to drive to germany to do the neurburg (sp) trip so ill tell you how i feel after that, its not that loud in mine compared to some corsas iv been in with an interior eather..... my exhaust is rather quiet....

I know its not a corsa but...

Done purly for weight save, But what i've taken out is prolly the same as what i've put in with the cage etc. Obv cage has added benefits
Every car i've ever owned has the rear stripped out first off, just one of those First things to do. Saves weight and gives your car a better power:weight ratio. Plus you can just stuff anything you want in the rear, avoid giving lifts to peeps and so forth...
