Why is it when they treat you like shit and you know they are playing the field etc. you still can't stop thinking about them?
This is doing my nut in.
I so need a new woman in my life then I can forget about the silly bitch.

You would have thought I'd have got over her and moved on/forgotten about her etc. seeing as we broke up nearly 2 years ago and we were together for nearly 3 years.
Love hurts, as they say.

Guess I know how you feel, was with a girl two years, then she goes and breaks up with me two months ago. Still can't get her out of my head. She acts like I dont even exist. Hurts alot.

Why do they do this? Is it in most female's genes to be complete fuckwits to their ex boyfriends?

2 years, i thought i was bad with 8 months!! To be fair she's not in my head all the time, just certain times when certain things happen etc.
Were still mates and we get along when we talk (dont see her cos she lives down south) but i still get that stupid feeling in your stomach when i see her sign in on MSN or she texts me. We spilt up on good terms and sometimes i wish we hadnt cos it probably would have made it easier to forget about her if i hated her

You are having a laugh? Her best mate resembles a pepperoni pizza and has shagged most of the 'boys' (read chavs) in her village!
Her best mate once sat on my shoulders when I was sitting on the floor, and she smelt of wee. I nearly puked...

We aren't mates, we did split on bad terms but then sort of became friends (or shall I say "very close" friends if you get my drift) but now she hardly ever talks to me and probably wouldn't GAF if I got run over by a bus tomorrow or something!
I tried hating her but that hasn't worked. I hope when I get with someone else I'll forget about her once and for all, or I think I might need to see a shrink!

I hope I have a new bird by 4 years time , so if my ex ever contacted me I could tell her to both STFU and GTF!

Yeah, actually thinking about it I think its more like 5 years nearly! From what a few mutual friends have said she has always liked me and not really gotten over me! She never really did anything wrong though when we split and was just down to being young, so might see where things go for old times sake!

i broke up with my girl couple of weeks back now, best way to get over her is to find out what you enjoyied doing before you were together!
like chilling out with your mates, playing football, playing pool. whatever works for you!

She didn't even have the courtesy to tell me face to face, havent seen her in two months.
As to the best friend thing, that's a plan

Get drunk, chat up random females, have a social life (ie. like I had before I met her)!

The only time anything seems to help is when im out until about 3am, and pissed, stoned or whatever, then get home and crash straight away. Take away the time you have to think, and all is fine.
We all know that it's impossible to do that everyday all day though
