HI guys my engine will be going in pretty soonish well hopefully by the end of the month

Is it worth getting the old peek out and trying to make it shine or is there no point and no chance of making this sort of metal shiney...

Rocker cover... dunno if to do it gold or silver....

Any chance of it looking better if i get the old peek out

SOmeone has tried to spray it gold btw its not rust

well, seeing as you have the engine out and you may not have another chance to reach all them hard parts when its in the bay, I would consider giving a good clean, renew jublie clips and so forth.

Always nice to give the gearbox a little scrub too I used oil to clean mine.

also! If your engine is coming out of your bay and nothing is replacing it for a few hours... jump inside and give it a clean

Spray it silver if your going to spray it. Or maybe black and silver to keep with the black silver theme on your car.

Change all the hoses for sfs/samco jobbies, gunk the3 block and gearbox, then steam clean that off and then use some hammerite and paint it silver/black

just takes a lot of time,

go for silver of the rocker cover and cam cover and i would get the dbilas spayed silver as well and the lettering black, be different its nice
