3 times now i've been stopped on the way to work to take part in a cenus. They ask the same fucking questions each time and pull over half a dozen cars (u have no choice whether u pull over btw, they block off one lane of the dual carriage way and then close the other lane off briefly while they pull over the half a dozen cars, then open it up again)
I want to know if legally, i have to pull over for this thing. Its getting me really anrgy because it makes me late for work and ive been asked the same things 3 times now, and the traffic they are causing is a piss take.
The police are there but the cenus is done by a third party, i think the police are there to make sure it runs ok because i've seen some people getting pretty ticked off by the amount of delays they are calling.
Im really pissed off about getting stopped nearly every morning on my way to work and would like to know if i have to take part in it as i dont particually want to now i've already done it 3 fucking times.

There are 2 ways i can drive to work and they have been at both ways each time, i told her this morning i was late for work and i had already done it and she said 'it wont take a minute' i just answered the questions ... again, because arguing with her would have taken longer!!!
Next time i will just drive off i think

Can't, its been blocked off so theres only one lane in use, then 2 coppers stand in the lane as move you over into the lay bay so u can answer the questions, which were;
Where are you going too - postcode/name
Where are you coming from - postcode/name
Do you use this route everyday - y/n
Do you use the motorway every day - y/n
and i think there were a couple more as well

tell her you dont have time.
Tell her to get a real job instead of making those who do have one late.

I did look really peeved and i said 'I've done this twice already and this is making me late for work' and she just smiled and said it wouldnt take long.
I thought, you fucking cheeky bitch because of this stupid cenus, both ways to work are rammed with traffic because the dual carriage ways have been reduced to one lane, at a peak time in the day

You are legally obliged to stop if asked by the police officer.
You are not however legally obliged to answer their questions.
Last time I was stopped I rolled down the window said 'fuck off' and rolled it back up and drove off. They did fuck all

I'd just leave the windows wound up and the door shut like the complete asshole I am, they would eventually get the message.

wear a white shirt and spatter it with fake blood, then leave an axe on the passenger seat... she'll either think you're a homicidal maniac or that you're having the most violent period ever. Either way she should leave you alone.

stuff like this pisses me off, i seen one not so long ago so i didnt go down that route, the roads are bad enough at work times without them making it worse.
just drive over the cones if you have to.

Ummm ... went different way first and second time and they were in random places, didn't think they would be where they were this morning as its busy enough on a normal day and i thought that because i leave @ 7am traffic wouldnt be too bad.
I don't see why i should leave for work earlier than i really need to just because some idiots are asking stupid questions at peak time of the day, they are asking for trouble.
