222bhp from some bolt on throttlebodys ECU and manifold, i can not see that.
more like 190bhp
rollers must of been off.
your the same spec at MattH but from what you saying your getting 32bhp more
also it is was at the wheels that makes it more like 250 at the fly
QED top kit is for around 230 and thats ECU Bodys Pistons soild lifters cams rod bolts etc etc
to get 250 mark you need loads of head work....
where you go to have it tested?
post up the print out?
i am on 45's exhart and cams and i just made 200mark

agreed that figure seems high, but over 200bhp is not impossible (FLYWHEEL FIGURE) with 48mm TB's, the right cam profiles, headwork and a good manifold...
and cams are in that spec...
so if its got a decent head, and was well mapped, its likely to be over 200bhp surely.
Hows your carb'd beast running beardy?
Spoke to you at TOTB a while after you got it ... I was with Chris A in his black MK4 Astra...

i never said 200 was not possiblue as i know a few cars getting over 200 with TB but what i was saying is that from what J100 has (which is just TB and a exharst) its never seen over 200.
you can get 290'ish with TB if your cash flow is good
i know all about getting around the 250mark with TB as i had the QED420 230bhp kit a bit back an if i was to get headwork would of taken me to 250.
the carb bucket is mint mate
starts up everyday never misses a beat, she a little minter

but his spec says cams and dta management as well as TB's and a decent manifold...

missed that bit
maybe getting the 200 at the flywheel then but never ever 225 at the wheels
as basic the same setup as the bucket and that just made 200

If it is rolling roaded, you got a print with the figures why donot you post a scan from it here ???
other we will have endless discussion about it.
And please post exactly what you changed en what engine you have.
