Mum's moving away from where we are now (only like 5 miles away) was going to go with her originally, but after alot of time between viewers on our house my mum asked if I still wanted to go, to which I know I now don't want to. She will give me some money to help pay off a few debts (not all of them) and I have a few mates who I think might be up for sharing a flat.

I've just been looking and found this opposite my local probably not such a good idea but this is the kind of place I'd be thinking of, worked it all out (rent, council tax, gas/elec/water, tv license, insurance, food) and I reckon it's do-able and will leave me enough money to not be really scrimping

Going to speak to some mates this weekend and see who's up for it well scary

Went on the basis of about £50 a month (each) for council tax, and £10 a month tv license, probably about £15 contents, £100 food, £30 all in electric and water.

Jase I will ask them, i'll have to upgrade my tv and err move into one first

Yes this is also a good point, houses can be had for not much more up here but then you'll pay more council tax etc, if2 of my mates r up for moving out this might be a better option cut the bills asmany ways as possible
