Gsi vs 90 bhp VTR = GSI by a fair way
Gsi vs 100bhp VTR= GSI by a bit

Wasnt the GSi meant to be on par with the VTS tho?
Is the GSi twin cam?
Why compare a 1.6 16v GSi with an 8v VTR?
Why not compare it with the 16v VTS?

not really the 1/4mile times are not accurate since the VTR will fold in half by the time it reaches 200metres

VTS is faster in every respect against GSi, it is lighter and has 20bhp more. and yes GSi is DOHC

because the VTR is only 5/9bhp shy but is lighter. but its still slower

And single cam, and 8 valves less.

Yes maybe so, but not by a large margin. Still VTS is more comparable to a 2.0 than a 1.6 , thats my point.
