I'm now a self employed DJ and need a name for my company, just filling in all the paper work and that's the only thing I haven't come up with yet...

Has anyone got any ideas?

No, I was but the guys I'm working for now have said they won't pay me untill I provide them with everything a Sole Trader is required to have.

Tell them to fuck off. They dont need to have it. It isnt there responsibility to ensure your registered as self employed.

That will be my trade name I think, I just need a business name now...

I was just going to have djantd.info as the business name but you can't have .'s in it I don't think

No, Business names have to be in a certain language and can only contain words made up of only letters, and cannot register a business name with a >> . << in there such as djantd.info

Thats news to me and Im a qualified accountant. I set up sole traders and limited companies all day long. Not quite sure what you mean about registering a business name as you dont need to if your only a sole trader??

I wanna do it properly, and I'm only going by whats on the .gov.uk website for setting up a business mate.

So are you setting up a limited company? MY advice would be to speak to an accountant as I dont really know what your talking about "doing it properly" as its dead easy to employ people under your own name
