there is no way thats real!

Firstly the people would not just stand under it and watch it (or not even watch it for that one walking under!)

And the downward pressure from the wings at that heights would atleast blow those people to the ground if not damage the car, etc.

It may well be a real airport but that has been exaggerated on how low / close it gets to the beach!

Im not doubting the pics but have you any idea what kind of force they exert as mentioned above?

That would surely blow all the people about 400ft out to sea! Plus any cars, small children umbrellas/snorkels!

The jet engines would blow you about... But when the plane is at that position landing the engines will more or less be on idle, unless the pilot is coming in too low....

LMAO at some of the people saying its fake people on the beach are advised to move either side of the runway when a large aircraft is taking off, especially a trijet, since the exhaust gases are pretty damn hot hitting that beach area, blasts the sea water. eck, that DC10 is cutting it a bit close, but the CATIII would make sure hes at the correct height.

this is in Barcelona, and it IS wayyyyy too low

That sort of thing happens at Brize Norton a lot, the main road passes by the landing area and the planes get so close thta there are lights now to stop people as they ahd some near misses with lorries etc in days gone by

Most planes miss it by a mile but i have seen some close calls lol

Dave - I love it when I drive home an get stopped for a landing... tis an amazig site seeing a landing so close

lucky mofo, sydney has a few kewl spots for watching landings, just at the far end of 16R, the main filter road for the Domestic terminal is right at the end, on windy NE days, you get ALL the traffic coming in from this direction, its unusual because of the proximity to the city, but its f-ing ace if you are lucky to be there when they do
