there a nice motor, a hell of a lot of em about but same as corsas i suppose, not a bad engine in them either, but i take it you would be getting a 3 door?

yeah would b lookin for a dark blue 3dr - dnt mind them bein common.

Thinkin of gettin a new motor cos my M reg corsa is starting to show its age n i dnt wanna spend £££'s moddin it if its gonna die

just remember, a focus is a big car to have a 1.6 engine probs not much difference to your 1.,4 corsa

they are a good buy but expect worse fuel consuption and slower acceleration than a 1.6 sport/gsi

not bad, pulls well through the gears, if you get sports suspension one they handle brilliantly

i had a 1.6 zetec. Handles better than any other standard car ive been in.

Focus also comes in ST220 now, 5 cylinder Turbo jobbie from a Volvo

i've got a 1.6 16v focus...had it three months...had a 1.2 8v corsa before that so it certainly doesn't feel slow to me, obviously depends on what you are used to i suppose. Anything you wanna know just u2u or post in here

1.6 16v Focus's are dead slow. Would think it wouldn't be quicker / much quicker than your corsa 1.4 8v

nearly 1200 kg... and only 98 bhp ...

I learnt in one and it was so gutless.

i wouldn't have thought you could get a clear indication of a cars performance by learning in one

You can get an idea of low down torue etc, the figs speak for themselves anyway really.

I had a 1.4 8V Corsa B and had shot of my pals focus and believe me there is a difference, Corsa will not go past 100 and focus will pull quite happily past 100

my mummy wants me to sell my car and buy her Focus..

its a 3dr 2.0 Zetec.. does shift.. and is very nice to drive.. i really do like them
