Dlbas make an inlet as well as a throttle body kit

Lexmaul also make an inlet as well as a super charger kit

Only problems with these inlets are in a corsa you will need to chop a fair bit out of the bulkhead to fit them and also unlike tb's all the power is at the top end ofthe rev range hence needing a raised rev limit and not as drivable.

There are frequently second hand TB kits on MIG for around the 1k-1.5k mark which is a good buy

not sure i'd want to spend that much, was thinking of some simple basic stuff to make it a bit more pokey than standard

think the std xe can take it, depends how much you want to spray in there I suppose.

but remember this is CS, using NOS is the same as killing babies inside a Church on a Sunday.

Unless your rebuuilding it I wouldnt bother as most XE's are 10-16 years old and over 100K miles. Admitedly they are pretty bomb proof but I persoanly wouldnt unless I had steel rods etc.

i may just leave it alone and see how it goes, might end up with a problem or two and decide to rebuild with better parts

i only plan to keep it for a year or so

chuck a 50 shot in on a progressive controler, ARP rod bolts, maybe a raised limit and away you go.

I've been thinking about tuning on my XE, but when you think that a replacement inlet from dbilas is over £1000 and tb's are even more...for about 185 Bhp or something (without other mods), is it not better to invest in an LEt??

yeh be better to put let in but then theres lots of lag and xe with tb's would pick up and accelerate faster

I didn't think there'd be much lag on a standard LEt?
