Mine are really on my case latley, mainly over work. I work bloody hard, and have recently had 3 jobs. I'm leaving my main job, but with pursuing the other 2 i'm making alot more money. Trouble is my parents don't see it as 'real work' or a career. I earn more than both of them but they still say i'll never get anywhere in life etc... we'll see

They just keep going on about how it's not a proper job and not a career. I'm not a 9-5 kind of person - never have, never will.

dad got head-hunted by AMP to work for them. simple as that, they paid for everything, including having all our stuff shipped out which was £10k, and 6 business class tickets which was £20k. not to mention all the tax free earnings for first 6 months and half food budget, gase/water/leccy bills and rent paid for

Surely you can progress in personal protection like you would in any 9-5 office job.

Off topic but is there any qualifications of any type in PP?

Their are a few established PP courses, very expensive though. A doorman i work with does it all over the world and his course was £4500 and his licence was £900.
The money's good, i get £30-£60/ph when i do a job.

Im part of a security team doing the security for Jordans wedding on Sat, should be fun.
