2 units is the limit so nothing more than a pint.

takes 1 hour per unit to process

never driven pissed but around half - 1 unit over.

i reckon a lot of people drive over the limit after a heavy sesh the previous night - might feel able to drive but the alcohol is still there.

The legal limit above which you must not drive is 35 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath or 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood

this varies as to the strength of the beer and the metabolism of the person. no drinking if your planning on driving. more and more people are being caught the day after

Depends on the person. One person could drink a glass of wine and blow a 31 on the breathalyser and another person could drink the same and blow a 37... As 35mg of alcohol on your breath is such a tiny ammount it's best not to drink at all if you are going to drive, or to count your units. Remember that your body processes roughly 1 unit of alcohol per hour, so if you have a pint of beer then you should wait about 2.5 hours (I think) before you should think about driving... Also one thing to remember, if you have had a heavy night on the drink and are driving in the morning you are probably going to still be over the limit in the morning when you wake up...

it wouldnt be zero, because there are other factors like the alcohol content in some mouth wash. there was a big issue over here that all P platers must not drink any alcohol if driving, and some were testing positive, and it was because of mouth wash.

*Apparently* mouthwash doesn't set off the modern breathalysers because you don't swallow it...

i remember having 1 too many drinks at a family party, and was driving home shitting a brick because i knew if i was stopped i would be over the limit. that is the one and only time i have drunk and driven. if im going out, i have a beer or something to start with, then drink coke for the rest of the evening.
