Brad thats pretty sad mate! It's weird how we become so attached to dogs when we know full well we are likely to outlive them!

I love you brad

I know i never ever thought about that when i was 9!!
Seems weird that he has grown up with me, always sat while i washed cars etc and helped me out

But we did the right thing and hes in doggy land, probably sitting at the bar chatting to some fine bitches

If you doon't mind me asking mate, what was the problem with Charlie?

We had a dog ddie the week before xmas. Mum came downstairs to find her dead. That was quite upsetting

if read my other post will know,
hes had cancer for the last 4 years but battled on and hasnt affected him, but its come back worse,
his back legs have lost most of the feeling
his heartbeart got very irregular and stopped at time
fluid on lungs and heart
gastroitus (something like that in stomach)

basically hasnt been well for few weeks but started to suffer y-day and didnt want walk or dinner, so we decided time to go, and when the vet gave him a sedative they said he would go that way as was too weak to battle it,

it is sad i had to go and put my dog down a few years back

he would have been on weekly injections
daily tablets etc
his legs had gone and he could do anything but sleep so it was only fair thing to do

i know its sad, my dog is now 13, she has gone deaf and her back legs have started to go its not nice thing, but letting them go is the best thing for it, they dont know they are gone and its not nice to let them carry on hurting
