been offered swap for my now standard corsa sxi.
It is a 1989 nova 1300 SR in red with tilt and slide sunroof
uprated suspension(shocks and springs)
allessios
courtenay rear rollcage
2litre 16v brakes
redtop fitted, engine bay stitch welded? power cap, full zorst system
I have checked insurance and i can afford it sensibly as i do not use car fork work or keep it newhere appart from home really.
just wondered if you people felt it would be a good swap for a T reg 1999 sxi with 91k on clock

got a redtop in yeah.....
would still think your standard 99 sxi is worth more unless nova is mint...but it's a personal choice really

id keep the corsa personally. ive owned novas and they aint half the car.
stich welded engine bay is what it has to have otherwise would rip the inner wings off the chasis legs.
novas gettin on these days so finding a good one is hard.
up to you, your car

novas are cheap, but will now cost more to maintain as more will go wrong.
good luck anyway, xe novas are a laugh to drive. no doubting theyre quicker than an xe corsa

ok bearing in mind the corsa had 91k on clock, ecu lite on and wheels scuffed, and was bk to std without any ICE i think it was a fair trade...heres a quick cam fown pic:-

it needs a clean and polish but it REALLY IS tidy, i just gotta work out how to find out if it is superchipped as rumours say, i think it has a raised rev limiter...it is in desperate need of clear front indicators as the amber ones are ming the merciless of ming...got a mk2 dash coming over next week, and got leccy window kit somewhere as well as leccy sunroof kit if it fits in
