Now i hate flying, although i find it very much amazing how they take off and fly in the air with all those people / luggage on boad going at such speeds and so high

Today when i woke up to hear about the plane crash it was horrible, apparently the plane decompressed and everyone on board frozed (went blue) to death.

People have been checking there mobile phones that have been found and texts were sent to friends and family as they was dieing in the air

Harsh !

Poor people that's awful. They must have been so panicked and desperate to survive that they tried to fly the plane themselves it's really sad.

They think it was something to do with the air conditioning, and that they lost all oxygen in the plane. They got so cold because of the faulty air conditioning, that most of them probably fell asleep before it crashed, but it was only minutes from landing

the cabin is pressured when its up in the air so you dont run out of breathable air I think

fault/leak=no pressure=no breathable air=good luck doing anything.

Same here, i am terrified of flying, but apparently, the journey to the airport is the most dangerous thing. But the thought of falling out the sky is just too scary.

you know whats more fucked up?

I think that most journeys are auto pilot'd so when this happened the plane was still in this mode....

Passers by said they saw the plane "drop out of the air like a rock", so when it got to a point where someone needed to control the plane manually perhaps it just dropped like a rock.

A plane full of already near dead people falling to the ground to meet its firey death

IMHO you all need to get a grip and shut the fuck up.

Using planes to travel is a must when it comes to long journeys or flying out of the country, you need to think about how many flights we have a day on this planet, fucking loads! so for one or two planes to crash a year thats a pretty good chance of having a successful trip!

Also alot could be said for these cheap airlines...(which it was)

Yeh, i don't think helios had a very good repuation after just reading all the comments about them. Most people are complaining about them. This sort of thing just bothers me because i am so scared of flying though.

One thing I suppose, is that at least those poor bastards didn't suffer as they were unconscious > dead before the plane crashed to the ground.
