I spotted a machine over in brighton connected to a global (3-4 spoke sites connecting into a London network) trading network trying to access hosts that didnt exist, so the default route took it to the firewall which wouldnt translate it cause its desination network was private IP space...

Well the firewall picked up roughly 17,000 counts of this and I reported it, pat on the fucking back for willay
