didn't help with the fact that i watched it in a Chelsea/Arsenal pub
one half was us, other half were Chelski bawbags.
Me and mates left as soon as the whistle went, wasn't going to stick around for the 'festivities' afterwards

I was watching the game with a mate who is a Chelsea fan. I think he was one of about 5 fans in the pub and the rest was Arsenal. When Drogba scored and he jumped up and cheered I was expecting a pummeling. There were a few "Sit down you cunt" jeers!

@ Patrick
Think the chelsea fans were outnumbered where I was as well. Was one nutty woman at the front that almost decked this poor bloke because he spilt a tiny bit of his pint on her due to getting shoved in the back

It just goes to show, although lampard, duff, roben and claude all had shit games, chelsea had two good chances and put both away. if you didnt see the goals, and saw the rest of the game, you would say arsenal had won, more possesion and looked loads better getting forward, chelsea was very route one, and not very exciting. but its goals that count in the beautiful game, but wasnt THAT impressed by either side, especially chelsea.
awaits "frank lampard was excellent he had a shot on target" comments..

lol, did u watch the Saints wolves game nath? i enjoyed it tbh, if we can perform like that every game i'll be more than happy. ive said for weeks, 2 hard games, and ill be happy with 2 well earned points, aslong as we beat hull on saturday. but, i think palace are gonna be shocked when they come to the fort, lescott will enojy putting AJ on his arse. he missed the whole premiership season threw injury, and im confident to say, with him, and our injured 1st choice keeper (matt murray) we'd not have come down.

Na I was out so didnt see any of it. Although i'm very hopeful about tomorrow's game at the Kenny. We looked good saturday, very able and very much a Championship team. Even if we lose i'd still have taken 3 points from our first two fixtures.

a month before we play you, how bigs your squad? would like you to have a few injuries by then tbh. Ince is getting on a bit, but he have the England u-17 captain Mark Davies who is amazing - such an old head for a young lad.

We have a decent sized squad. The only injury that could really harm us is an injury to Super Kevin Nicholls. Everyone else we have adequate cover for IMO.
I'm not expecting much when we play you tbh. I'm tipping you and Leeds for a promotion push this season.

YEah nath is keeping quiet cause he knows we got robbed Nah, all fairness, Luton played some class football and totally outplayed us in midfield and their defence kept AJ quiet, was always 2 players on him straight away. Luton deserved the win, ive no shame in admitting that.
Tonights game will be very very hard for us, No-one will enjoy going to wolves this season as they are a tough team to beat, im sure wolves will be somewhere in the top 6 this season and i cant wait for tonights game, 2 good teams so should be some good football. Palace deffo need to improve, but hopefully we will now have a fully fit squad for tonights game, but im going to assume granville will be left out and Freedman will come back into contention with ward taking hudson the donkeys place in defence.
Let battle commence
