I filled my car up recored the milage and ran to the red light, recorded the milage again and filled up ran to the red light. Then the mileage ie 350 say and divid it by the size of your tank. Now my car does it for me.

fill up 18 litres, around £16.50 worth
do ur mileage on it.
divide by 4 (coz 4 4.5s are 18)

163 / 8.88.. = 18.35
18.35 miles to the gallon.

mates got a 1.6 sri. he used to get 100 miles for a tenner when he first bought it !!! proven, i seen it with my own eyes. amazin.

My corsa sport did 100 miles to a tenner. Now my clio does £12 to 100 miles i think

Basically fill it right up so you have a reference point then after 100 miles or whatever no set amount note the mileage then fill up to the top again and see how many litres you had to put in to fill it up again then either us this or you can work it out yourself but it will me take me too long to put it in here.
