Filled up with fuel, soon as i got it, been driving around "learning how quick it goes" (or not as sum u funny fcukers might say) and the petrol light is now on....... 165miles

what engine and stats do the gti have? apart from the 21.22mpg you achieved

yes well they would have been even faster more insurance etc, this was senible its a big step up from punto so, thought why not aye!

Sad thing is I get that sort of MPG all the time I think I must constantly be testing my car

to be fair ... I did think the other day as I was following in traffic at about 45 mph why was I sitting in 2nd gear at about 5k rpm with the exhaust popping and banging with the amount of fuel it was chucking in

i do that pmsl, plodding along behind traffic then realise wtf am i doing in 2nd lol
