The engine was never in the car. Being 18 it owuld have been impossible to insure, so i kept the 1400 in it. It wasn't exactly slow compared to competing 1400's.
Personally i think my white one looks 100 times better than any other standard R5GTT

Yes, but your kitted one looks like every other kitted R5GTT under the sun.
Now having a totally standard one is something special, especially when you're the second owner on the log book
I believe the phrase "rocking-horse shit" comes to mind

Whats kitted about my old one ?
Wheels because the standard 5 turbo wheels looked gash as soon as i had the kit painted. mirrors, im not quite sure why, seemed like a good idea at the time ! and grill because after my bump i couldnt find another one.
I'd like to see you find an R5 which isn't owned by an enthusiast in that condition

Nah, but i couldn't find a set of painted ones for toffee. Looking back now i think i should have gone for something a bit more 'boxy' to suit the car's lines, ahwell !
CRFC - Those turbo wheels were replaced, and the car's gone now

Personally i dont think that qualifies as a replica. There are loads of R5's out there with bodykits, whats GTT about that ? The arch's.....

only plus point of the renault 5 gtt is the engine, a replica imo is a waste of time as they are ugly as sin! Just my opinion though.
