What sort of noise do the rollers give before going.. I have areciept for the belt and rollers getting done at 45k... Only at 65k now so thought this was a bit unlikely. Or are they just really shit?

The plastic rollers aren't bad, they do the job, but tend to wear out more quickly... Not sure on thier replacement intervals though...

timing belt kit and water pump will set u back £187
if water pump bearings are away it will make a clicking noise that increases with revs of the engine
also if your tensioner isnt adjusting it will make the same noise

Just had timing covers off to have a quick look... Water pump has started leaking so im guessing this is the noise... Belt and rollers look new enough so just gonna replace belt and do rollers later...

Its 25 quid for the pump and 15 quid for belt... Sounds like youve been bumped dizzy! lol. Be able to ft it myself which is a bonus, and shud only take a few hours by looks of it.. Plenty room and belt doesnt look hard to do....

Where did the other 150 quid go then????
105 isnt to bad for the labour but theyve probably just bumped up the prices of the parts...
