I am.
If i smash my car up i will buy a new one.
Simple as that really.
Edit: I use to be fully comp when i had new cars or a few years old.

what are the implications if you have a smash with another driver and it's not your fault?
I would consider myself a decent driver, not dangerous at all and wondered if i could save money by going TPFT (especially on a Celica GT)

if its not your fault then the other drivers insurance payout like they would in any other case!

I am, since the accident insurance fully comp would have been £2900 on the 2 litre with all mods declared! Saved £1300 going third party, plus theres £600 excess with the fully comp quote and only £200 with TPFT, so if i crashed my car I would have to fork out loads anyway. Will prob go fully comp next renewal cos ill be 21 with 1 years NCD.

makes sense if you've had accidents or trying to insure a more expensive car really.
TPFT on a Celica GT is £750 (same as Fully Comp for the 1.2 corsa) so tempting

I was TPFT on my Corsa. Was a 94 L reg and only worth a grand so if it got smashed up i'd just buy a new one.
Spent all of my money and some more on buying the Vectra so went fully comp just to be safe because i drive like a cunt sometimes.

Yes, fully comp is only really worth it when the car is brand new or a couple of years old and worth over 3 grand.
