What a weekend, convoyed up saturday with mr spankee and the vec.
Got there tents up and on with the beer. Wandered to the pub till close and then drank 60 bottles of beer beetween 7 of us till about 4am!
get up wash car, enjoy the day and interest the car got.
Drive back with south east vxlscc crew and have a good old blat on the a45,a14!!
get home and find bottom ball joint buggerd but in all a good weekend!

The mk1 astra with the phase 4 let which had been converted to 4x4 won the cup and deserved that the work was immense!

IMO the cars were better than PVS this year, if I had camped I feel it would have been 10x better than PVS.

PVS was shit this year and doubt il camp next year.
Billing has a more relaxed feel, better cars on display ranging from 1920 vauxhall f1 cars upto 2006 vxr vx220!

Any Ideas on the spec for this? Just noticed that it must have a dry sump kit, so must have had a fair bit spend on it tuning wise i'd imagine .

Some nice cars there - the weather improves these shows no end too!
I didn't even know this was on until I was on my way back from the F1 and there were Vauxhalls everywhere! Saw that green Corsa with a nice dark grey one and an Astra in Trowell Services.
Was there a VW show on too? Saw loads of them on M1

I agree with Brad, PVS this year was crap car wise and the weather was a factor as well.
But the pre show party is something that won't be missed for many years to come
