I hit one with a plastic spade when i was about 6 years old. Didn't kill it but was well impressed with my reactions to hit it..

i had a broom in my hands but kept missing so i did a form of irish jig and my foot landed on its head

it twitched for a while then died, so i hung it in a tree for an owl to eat

i chased after one in my last work place kicked it into the road and it met a 4x4 and was very dead

it was an excellent moment, i walked into kitchen area, saw something run off behind fridge so i shut the door and it was me v the mouse, took about 5mins and i'd won

shaking the fridge scared him into a frenzied run to the door, which was shut

I tried to kill about 14 which were trapped in a big bin i kept groundbait in (They got in a wee hole and got fat and unable to get out the same hole) but they are flexi wee buggers, stabbing with a spade took ages to finish the job. I felt so guilty doing that to the wee furry buggers

he did look like quite a chap, was quite sweet/cute when he kept poking his head out from the fridge.

Good lad i couldn't bring myself to it but they are a pest at the end of the day, very nice i'm sure in their natural environment but not very hygeinic for a kitchen
