its shit... really really shit
i worked in the local one for a while, the pay was soo bad i went back to work in the offliences..
think you got 12.5% discount.. something like that.. benefits.. nope dont get them at Halfords..
but it is easy.. most lads automatically go for the Ripspeed desk.. which you dont always get.. i was on Autos.. which covered the Ripspeed bit..

Currently I do really unsociable hours and get paid min wage for it.
Hours currently arnt very solid either, some weeks doing 10 others 40 hours.
So this is quite good considering + I'm still a student.
Will be 17 hours thru the week doing "Parts" then weekend be 12 hours on Ripspeed.

well thats more hours than i was given
but the pay was pretty crappy.. might have improved by now.. was about a year ago.. maybe more

I work there aswell. In store 808 its a massive store.
Its alright, but its like any other job in retail....Low pay...long hours....not exactly stimulating!
You get 15% discount and as i am only part time i do not know about the benifets

My mate started part time doing a few hours here and there, he then wanted full time work and got cycle specalist at a nearby store and as of monday hes deputy manager of another store!
All in about 8 months! and hes not getting paid that bad!

yeah i work at 734 store. It ain't bad, it depends what ur doin really. When stock comes in its really borin, but when ur selling alloys, sat nav an fitting, it ain't too bad. Discount is 15%, but pay ain't the best especially for part timers.

i love going into halfords to laugh at the chavs buying their chavish things  was in other day buying oil and there was a groupd of 'kids' (none of them old enough to drive), all in tracky bottoms, rockports etc, asking about neons
