Download the drivers from manufacturer website.

I guess your CD ROM drive is fucked.

Does it still say "not connected"? (on the official SE software)

If so, double click that icon & enter your phone details. Then when it comes up asking "Do you want to perform this action everytime?" click on yes to all of them. You will need to be connected to the t'internet whilst you do this.

Then it should work fine

Ok what are you trying to install off the disk? software to access your phone with the data cable?

I use XTNDConnect Blue Manager software with my bluetooth but i think that may require u only use a bluetooth.

Do a search out there and look what software will communicate with your data cable you purchased.

or that but cd-drives are really cheap nowadays, bout a tenner for a decent one. maybe nows the time to buy a cd-burner, but not just any burner, a 48x+ speed burner i can make an audio cd (80minutes full) in exactly 2 minutes and 57 seconds. its ace

i had this problem with my DVD drive. it was ok for the first few months, but then decided to stop playing everything but dvds. i downloaded drivers, but they did nothing. in the end i smacked it up a bit, and it worked fine, till i switched off the computer, and it never worked again

Is it the whole computer that's under warranty or the CD Drive? If the whole machine is, then you should try and get a whole new machine rather than just a new drive because your computer is shit. In which case i wouldn't worry about the mobile phone drivers at the minute.
