Since there seems to be loads of body building, getting bigger threads lately..

I've got a question of my own. How can you stop yourself getting stretchmarks when you are doing heavy workouts? I've noticed I'm starting to get stretchmarks between my shoulder and arm where my arms are getting bigger.

Ive got them on my bicepts and thighs. Only time I notice them is when I get a tan. I dont think there is any way to avoid them as you are stretching the skin over bigger muscles. Perhaps if it was a more gradual growth it would occur?

aye, was just about to say - only way to stop it happening as much is to work out slower.
apart from that, there are creams that supposibly try and get rid of them - dont know if they work, but might be worth a try.

baby lotion or moisturiser before you work out, it allows for more elasticity in your skin

the only way to avoid stretch marks is natural progression.

overload, progression and reversability.

remember if you get bigger too quickly, it'll disappear qickly if you stop training!
